There will never be an “independent” candidate with our current system because of the need to consolidate around a coalition candidate or candidates. Ranked choice voting systems would help relieve this issue but only Democratic states seem interested in giving this independence of candidate status to voters in their states. But your point here isn’t in good faith as we’ll all know here. Your schtick is so old, lazy, and played out.
