I think we need to be very very careful with stuff like this. Yes there is a lot of overheated rhetoric out there and people with mental
Issues already latch upon it. That doesn’t mean that it’s inevitable that people will start killing people.

In this case we have to remember this person was a schizophrenic and we don’t know for sure if this person just latched on to rhetoric or was actually influenced by rhetoric to become
Violent. We have a similar issue with a lot it the seemingly random attacks in Asian Americans many of those attacks the perpetrators claimed to be doing so because of fear of COvId and repeat anti Chinese rhetoric. Many of them though are very mentally ill and they might’ve have acted out anyway regardless of what political rhetoric was out there.

 

We still should be overall more responsible with our rhetoric and overheated rhetoric talking about enemies or the need to destroy other people should be avoided.

 

And when they are putting up razor wire in the rivers, and paint those in need all with the broad brush as Criminals and Terrorists, while on the other side of the world using our tax dollars to fund genocide and eradicate an entire group of people, please tell me what responsible talking points we should use when they're already putting their need to destroy their "enemies" into action?

I'll personally be more responsible with my rhetoric when they're more responsible with their actions.

 

I really, really, really want to like her, but then she goes and says this type of nonsense, during a Q&A session when you can't script your talking points you often say what you actually feel, and this isn't the first time she has made these types of remarks. IMO she will lose badly in SC and then the worst kept secret in politics will happen, trump will be the nominee
