Being middle-aged, "handing them out like candy" doesn't hit like it used too. When I was young, candy was harmless and you could eat plenty of it, absent-mindedly. Now -- for me and I'm sure all those middle-aged White House staffers -- the sugar makes your teeth hurt, your gums get infected, you get blood sugar spikes and crashes. My body can probably handle uppers better than it can handle sugar at this point. Dirty, dirty trick. But DeWit doesn't exactly look like a saint either. I have to wonder about his employment of Lake in his company, which looks like a bit of financial sleight-of-hand to pay a politician for the hope of future reward. (And sure, I'm certain it happens all the time.) So, I'm happy he's out and I'm happy that Lake looks like a snake in the process.

Compare that to the leading republican candidate, who has been married three times, cheating on at least two of them, lies continually, doesn't belong to a church and the rare one or two times he has attended a church it was simply a campaign appearance, hasn't read the bible and can't even name a bible verse.
