My whole point is our Texas leaders are quick to the draw to blast Biden for everything, yet proud to take credit for using those Federal funds to help make things better. Abbott thinks states should take care of themselves, without Federal aid, but that's ridiculous. Without Federal aid we would be a disaster in the making. We are in an area prone to flooding and hurricanes. They say taxpayers shouldn't fork the bill for student loans. I understand why some disagree. I don't have student loans, but I'd rather spend my taxes helping those in need than those who aren't, like the politicians, millionaires, and billionaires who took out PPD loans. I have healthcare, but I'd rather use my tax dollars to help people in need of healthcare, then pay for politicians to run around the country tweeting election lies and defending a criminal and traitor, while bragging about using my tax dollars to ship immigrants around the country like discarded trash. Maybe you like it, but I don't. Our so called leaders are horrible people. I doubt they would still be in office if so many dumbasses didn't realize they were full of **** half the time, or if they didn't gerrymander their butts off, to add in more "white" voter districts. I don't think the majority of our population votes for these guys.
