Trump did a horrible job setting up the exit from Afghanistan and Biden did as bad a job executing the last portion of it. Could have been done much more smoother and possibly (though unlikely) given the Afghan gov a slim chance of actually reaching a peace plan with the Taliban. The China tariffs are bad policy. It hurt Americans more than it hurt China. Lose-lose. Biden should have removed it to fight inflation. But China IS BAD politicization is too much to do the sensible thing. At least he's doing other things to be less dependent on China and other foreign powers. Should do more. The DEM base wants to cut to the military as a whole and shift that funding to domestic programs. That hasn't changed. Other than you, I don't know of anyone here saying they want SpaceX to fail.

The trump tariffs did not increase inflation and there's been non partisan studies that have studied this. The folks pushing for the reversal of tariffs were corporate neoliberals and neocons. NAFTA has ruined this country and trump was 100% to implement tariffs. His biggest mistake was he did not par the tariffs with domestic spending which biden has learned from. Biden has initiated the largest domestic industrial policy in decades. At this point, the Republicans don't care about policy, they don't care about democracy, all they really care about is beating the Democrats. They use fear, bigotry, and a disdain of science and education to do that. It may not be every Republican, but it is those who hold power in the party, and the party hasn't done anything to change it.
We're seeing even here on Clutchfans why the Republican party has been taken over by extremists and grifters. As long as it's done in the name of fighting wokeness we don't care if that means political connections are being rewarded from state funds with no scrutiny. In the meantime you have others arguing that rather than have more financial transparency we shouldn't even be allowed to see the financial records of those running for high office.
