From what is being reported it was not an either or and it makes sense if you think about it. Do you think they did not try and do a package deal do you not think they know how bad this looks? It's not like these people were wrongfully convicted... They knowingly committed a crime and if one of family members knowingly committed a crime then yes they have to pay the consequences.... These individuals committed a crime in another country, but amazingly you like others want them to be judge and pay the same consequences as if they were in America... Their country, their laws... People don't seem to understand the entire reason Griner was the only one Putin was willing to release right now. We are the reason. This thread right here.
