I was involved in the Nation of Islam for a while as a pre-teen kid and even had the chance to visit the Temple in Chicago and meet Elijah Muhammed. That was a very interesting experience and one that was both positive and negative, Once Elijah died his son took the Nation more mainstream like what Islam is taught in the Quran like what Malcolm X started teaching after taking the hajj. I was an FOI (Fruit of Islam) sold Muhammed Speaks and bean pies and everything.

I remember reading that Elijah Mohammed's son split off from the Nation of Islam to make it more inline with mainstream Islam but Louis Farrakhan took it over and kept it closer to the roots of what Elijah Mohammed taught. I was just curious about these "Blacks for Trump" because what Nook had posted sounded similar to some of the stuff Elijah Mohammed had been preaching. Also dont' hear much about the Nation of Islam these days so I don't know how much influence they have these days.
The Nation of Islam would no way be associated with Trump their hate of the white man was just too strong and too vital to the teachings. I don't know anything about The Nation these days but you are right it was taken over by Farrakan, but a lot of actual Muslims left.
