So you don't believe in paying your debts? I think we're onto something here.

What are you talking about in the last paragraph?

Of course I believe in paying debts. Look, we look at this money differently. You may look at it as the same thing as some guy who bought a brand new BMW and Biden's paying his car off, but I look at it as Biden paying off a piece of student debts from kids who wanted to be able to educate themselves to work in a profession to contribute back to society.

It's not like this money is paying off more than a semester of school and expenses for some. It's not paying off all their college debts. Did you not know that?

It's helping kids who didn't get a free college ride.. Kids who didn't get free college in prison. Kids who don't want to work for minimum wage or work like a slave. Kids who were bright, but couldn't afford college. Kids who didn't have parents who could afford to pay their apt, tuition, expenses, car payment, and an allowance, so they could focus on school and not work at the same time.

What I was talking about in my last paragraph was a retort to you saying "I can't wait for Trump to get into office and say I'm going to lower income tax to 5%."

You know Trump is full of nothing but hot air. He would only lower taxes to that for the wealthy if he did. Anyway, Trump didn't save me a dime in taxes. I won't have to worry about him again anyway. He's finally going where he belongs. He'll be the first con and crook President to be slapped with a felony or two. He should be hung for planning and inciting the coup in my eyes, not Pence, for upholding the law like his cult wanted.

Pffft. Conservatives all they do is pass tax cut for the rich and waste money on the military. The same dumb@ss party that tries to sell trickle down economics.

The party that continues to always increase the nation debt is trying to deluded themselves that the democrats who actually lowers the nation's debt r the ones that doesn't understand economics. Hilarious.

To fight inflation, the Rs promise
    * to make birth control illegal nationwide
    * to make abortion illegal nationwide
    * to make gay marriage illegal nationwide
    * to make trans go back into closet and STFU
    * to not have cheaper insulin
    * to make white people (especially the old, rich and male variety) more legal
    * to make all teachers carry AR-15s
    * to give the top 1% a huge tax cut while no one is looking

I'm pretty sure you don't always feel that everyone should follow the law based on your posts in other threads.

In a world where there's an omnipotent being actively using their power to force our wealthy folks into helping each other trickle down economics might work.

But in reality we are surrounded by selfish greedy folks who hoard the wealth.

Instead of trickle down, the government should force the wealthy to invest their money instead of relying on good faith that they would do it if tax cuts r given. But that's never happening.

The party that spits on the majority of Americans then acts like they are the ones to make America Great. SMH at how that is such a line of BS.

They took out loans and now want others to pay for them. Have we lost personal responsibility in this country. Used to be you had to suffer the consequences of your decisions. Well I guess we are doing this because of the person/policies we voted for.

You are welcome to post any evidence of the media misreporting something in any story being discussed. If you have evidence that the media has reported something fake in the Mar-a-Lago warrant, by all means share it.

What I do believe is the rule of law, court documents, etc.

Again, you don't always believe in personal responsibility or suffering the consequences of one's decisions.

Folks that took the PPP loans had their loans forgiven.

Where were your complaints when Tom Brady had $980,000 in PPP loans forgiven? Boebert and MTG had $400,000+ between them forgiven.

I suspect there are a number of people on this board that had PPP loans forgiven or worked for companies that had PPP loans forgiven.

Be consistent. As I wrote, please point me to where you complained about those loans.

I respect your point of view on the college thing. My wife and child both worked their way though college. Heck, the way you're thinking just make college free for everyone. That's a socialist dream, but doing this would be akin to making a college degree about what a high school degree is worth. Of course a good number of college degrees are worth very little in comparison to what they are worth in society vs the cost of obtaining a degree.

As for the last paragraph, I seem to recall Trump making a speech tell people to go protest peacefully.

This is much different than a pandemic related loan. However I disagreed with those being forgiven too.

We don't know what's in the warrant and the DOJ is doing everything in their power to keep us from knowing what is in it. Wonder why this is?
