Democratic Socialism is a name self-adopted by socialists who did not like the totalitarian way that the Soviets, Maoists, etc. imposed socialism. There is a current US political party called the Democratic Socialists of America. If it is a perjorative way to try to paint Democrats as Stalinists, it sure was adopted by a strange group.

I think this whole concept of defining something as socialist or not is stupid. It's all a spectrum/gradient.

We all fall somewhere along the spectrum between anarcho-capitalism and everything being owned and distributed by the state.

The difference between your accepted version of socialism and mine is that I want a few more industries owned by the government (tax payers) and distributed by the government than you do. You want national defense, emergency services and I hope most of education under "socialism". I just want to add a couple more industries like energy and healthcare.

Dam.....that is WOW. I saw something similar (not that extreme) when I was in Detroit last week but nothing quite as extensive as this..........just dam!! I have some friends that are fanatics about there college football teams that have man caves with there memorabilia but these trumpers take there cult leader to a whole new level. As I have said in the past, there so fanatical because they`ve had to hide there homophobic, racial, right wing Christianity views for so long that trump let them fly there freak flag high and proud(boys) and they can finally be themselves

 

And everyday the Dems are in charge is a day that the economy continues to go down the tubes.
