No matter how many times you say it, no matter how many time you think it, it still isn't going to be true.
The government screwing it up, is my number one fear of it. Our government is good at that kind of thing. I worry about long waits. I worry about my regular doctors' offices to start resembling the free clinic. Those are the negatives to me. There are enough positives that I won't mind socialized medecine if it does get passed.
How dare you criticize our government!!!! You should love and support everything that the US does or else you are a b*stard child and should GTFO!!!!
Do we have any Canadians in here who want to describe their current health care system. I personally only know one Canadian and he says the system is TERRIBLE and that anyone who wants decent care comes here. He believes that socializing our medical system is a huge mistake. That's good enough for me. It's the main problem with a socialized system, we all get some but it sucks.
He was not being truthful with you. If you look back through the thread I've explained quite a bit. If you have any other specific questions please feel free to ask.
Resurrecting this thread because of this article. I know it's tempting to put health care on the backburner right now, but it would seem that the current system is a key reason for many companies financial woes.
Many of the Canadians I know think its better than the system we have in the US. I know a lot of Canadians that live in the US that plan to go back to Canada after they retire because of the medical system there. They say it isn't perfect but no system is.
