    The way the spurs defended in that series??? Sure, Kobe had great stats in the playoffs, but like someone said before-- he is not the one that defenses focus on... His elevated stats come from playing on Shaq's team. When Shaq sits down, Kobe still scores-- but he is the only one. He can score 45 if he wants to, but the Lakers struggle on all other fronts (no one to rebound when he starts jacking up crazy shots). The Lakers end up losing while Kobe pads his stats.
