The Rockets effectively turned Klay Thompson and Steph Curry in to Danny Green. No open looks through half court offense or transition. They ran them off the line and forced them to shoot contested shots in the paint. Incredible adjustment and the blue print was displayed. Side note. Chris Paul is our MVP of game 2.
What's the blueprint for these early 90s Utah Jazz like phantom calls the refs gonna give us in Game?
We did play them better especially Klay. It helps that Durant didn't even look to pass. He was unstoppable but when others don't get their touches they can't get into a rhythm.
In regards to both klay and Steph nothing changed. Strategically, we used the same game plan Defensively. We did hustle and have more effort, and that does matter, Great win
We played them the same way imo in game one. It's just we were so much quicker on offense it totally threw off their rhythm
