No, i noticed it before he went out with back spasms and he said he had never had them prior to that...i'm talking about the whole season, maybe even preseason, but definitely before he sat out.

He was playing hurt in preseason too. Its possible that's what aggravated his back.

Maybe...i'm trying to remember if i noticed it prior to that knee injury too or just after it, but before the spasms....maybe the best way to explain it is he seems to be taking shorter strides...maybe due to muscles around the hip being stiff/tight, which could be related to the spasms...but what came first, the chicken or the egg?

I can't help but notice people overlook some bad fouls and a handful of bad shots by Lowry in order to bash Brooks.

That's fine though, Lowry played GREAT overall, and he and Brad were two of the big reasons we took that game after we let the other team stay too close.

If Lowry DOES take over starting responsibilities, people will start complaining about his deficiencies then. That's just how it works. Bash the starter, love the backup. People like rooting for the underdog, I guess.

Lowry is finally gonna show that Morey didn't overpay on his contract. He's worth every cent. Hope to see him log plenty of minutes.

Lowry smelled blood. He knows he has to POUNCE at the chance to claim a starting role NOW. Its his job to create a PG controversy, and I'm glad he's doing it. For the TEAM'S good.

    For sure.

Ish is a nice story but if we're serious about this team contending, we know he isnt a starting point guard for contender. He's just not there yet starting out his ROOKIE season. This team isnt THAT good where he can be Matt Maloney type filler. Ish running with the 2nd team is where his game best fits.

Lowry has to keep UP THIS performance. Lowry can't just be last year Lowry, or even "sparkplug" Lowry, thats not good enough for this team to WIN. Its all fun talking Brooks vs Lowry, thats fine & dandy when the team has a decent record. Expectations are higher for the team this year, therefore its higher for whoever the point guard is.

did u guy see they way he was playing defense last night..? he was helping out battier on double teaming Granger, he really made it hard for granger to get any shot and he played Collison pretty damn good, man if he is healthy and Brooks healthy this team would be pretty good.

Of course, that has to be the only possible reason. Back spasms are always and only caused by fat and being out of shape. Thanks for clearing that up!

What I have noticed is that his one on one defense has not been all that great, but his team defense has been fantastic, he digs the ball out and is a pest.

But he has not been able to keep anyone in front of him....except for that last play last night.

Lowry played great, but he can play better.

And people wanted Adelman's head when he left Lowry in the Wizards game.

OK, I'll admit it, I only like Kyle Lowry because he is black.
