Man, is anyone else as nuts about this show as I am? I am practically obsessed and that is encroaching even on Basketball. The other night I was actually flipping between the Rockets' game and HBO to see portions of an episode I have already seen. The Sorpranos is a really good show. Too bad me and my roomates don't get HBO in our apartment in Austin, otherwise I'd be watching it whenever it came on. ------------------

Before I ever saw an episode, I thought to myself while watching the previews "this looks dumb." But when I saw the season premiere, I was like "damn, this show kicks ass!" It's quality acting, quality writing, and avoids all the stupid crap that network tv shows have. The daughter is pretty hot too. David Chase (the creator) has a 4 year contract with HBO that will expire after the 2002 season. I believe the stars may actually have longer contracts. Chase has not ruled out extending his contract and continuing the show. ------------------
It was just in Yahoo news the other day that they are not planning on extending beyond the 4-year deal. ------------------ fArt don't pay the rent.
I’m 11 mins in and this was cringe. Thank god this was on an hbo max cause if I had to pay to see this at a theater, somebody whack me. And I’m a mob movie kinda guy. I’ll just leave it at that
I thought it was overrated, good but not great(maybe for the time) but I saw it way after the hype. Cringe might too harsh for only 11 mins of watching.
