The show started so well with the wine theft, but fizzled out quick IMO.. Just an OK episode overall for me..

I thought it was great. christopher finally falling off the wagon (of-course that was gonna happen, and they set it up brilliantly by him constantly putting himself in a bad situation with the junkie), the whole thing with adriana's mom, paulie finally accepting that his mother is his aunt.

janice running bobby's affairs, which might not be a bad thing. I find that situation interestin, janice has gangter tendacies and she was close to their father, its like she's a gangster through bobby who just goes with the flow.

overall I thought it was the best episode of the season.

I agree, I use to love the Christopher story line because I would always some how be cheering for him to succeed and do well, but after so much of the ups and downs I don’t really seem to care what happens to his character any more.. After he started talking about getting his “friend” into rehab and watching him get the spoon out I knew what was about to go down and I really didn’t care..

Did the preview show Vito hacking someone in half with a firemen's axe?

This episode was kinda boring...the flashback and a bachelor party without the bada-bing girls, WTF!!!

Only 3 episodes left and i still got to wonder if this is the worst season of them all...I can definitely see me cancelling HBO after this...

Not the best episode last night. Although Bobby growing a pair was funny. Janice is the wicked witch of New Jersey. Worst stepmother ever.

also carmela pressing tony about adrianna. the evolution of her becoming more involved in family business is gonna continue. its a subtle storyline that has evolved from the beginning of this season and the entire serie that will continue according to previews of next week.

the show is a soap opera, they can't wack 10 people an episode. it has to remain somewhat realistic.

He's been dead to me since Ade got whacked. I really don't care about anybody on the show except for Carmella, and Rosalie April. Everyone else can get killed or locked up and I wouldn't shed a tear. Even Tony, who while I like, is someone I'm counting on getting caught eventually.

Like Tony said early on in the series....people like him end up two ways - dead or in jail. I believe he will get ratted out and end up in jail.

(I don't watch the show till Monday nights on DVR so I'm always late, Gotta watch Desperate Housewives with the little woman)

True this episode was a little slow on the action side but it is increasing the tension and the sense of foreboding. The mob is becoming an anachronism, they can't control things like they have. The tough guys are succumbing to the human traits, sexuality, aging, addiction, and jealousy. Tony is has lost the will to be ruthless and with that losing control over his criminal enterprise.

Everything is unraveling right before our eyes.

This episode didn't do much for me, kind of slow. There's only 3 episodes left this season, curious as to what will happen.

That's what I'm loving about it the most. Everything's changing and they don't know what to do highlighted by the constant references to the money not being as much as it used to be and the Starbucks snub two episodes ago. Look how giddy Tony and Christopher were about their "hijacking" of the cases of wine.

Tony will either end up getting killed by a minor character, having a heart attack , or in jail. There will probably be no blaze of glory for him or anybody else - his end will likely be mundane - that was the overarching theme of the show : the demythologization of the mobsters into regular guys who deal with everyday domestic disputes and petty thuggery rather than the blood/honor types from past portrayals. Like what Tony said to AJ after he tried to re-enact godfather a few weeks ago: That was just a movie.

Yeah, the past three eps have been rather dull, character/story building eps. Not that I will stop watching the show, but I'm hoping for some interesting plot twists soon.

I can't believe that these guys would stop making the show. You have to think that the main characters would get paid top dollar (1mil+ per ep) to keep on going. Heck, I would be happy for a spinoff with some of the junior guys after the series is over. Anything to get my weekly mafia fix.

I havent watched it yet, but it's a shock to me that Vito would be going back to Jersey.. I thought he would get found out or run into "a friend", but for him to go back on his own free will is crazy IMO.. Oh well..
