    EVERY TEAM with athletic wings that can get to the basket cause us problems, because Shane is not the same, T-mac just sucks, and Artest is overrated on D. Then we have no shotblocking presence, Yao gets into foul trouble and we are in the penalty 4 mins in the the qtr.

    Trading Ron? No way. Even if you don't trust "big 3" at this moment, trading Ron means a give-up to Houston. Ron did steals and defence even at off. he is not always hot.

    Battier defense poorly when he came back from injury, what I saw tonight, he was defeated by Mayo. So keeping Ron is to secure Rocket's defence at this stage, or its rivals can score 100+ every game.

    The problem with trading Ron is that Battier is once again our lockdown defender...

    You need to get off the short bus and take some reading comprehension classes.

    I have been saying Artest doesn't fit since before we acquired him.

    I would ALSO trade Tmac for the right deal.....but I think he is more valuable as an expiring contract NEXT year....so am resigned to keeping him.

    There is no flip flop....just reality.

    No. The solution is to just play some defense.

    ummm, we had this problem last year too, and Ron wasn't here. We don't just have one problem. Rafer has problems, tmac has problems, Yao has problems, Ron has problems and Adelman has problems. Everyone else has been fairly consistent, is going through a slump, or playing beyond their role due to the problems mentioned.

    I dont understand the "trade ron for a pg" suggestions. What the hell do we do with Brooks and Rafer then? For the team to bring in a starting PG they would need to get rid of brooks or rafer, otherwise it's a waste of space, a big one.

    and how do you expect for the small pieces to work when the big pieces aren't working to begin with? Suggeating to trade battier is just looking for a quick fix and someone to blame, someone who's easier to trade than Tmac or ron or rafer (the big pieces). Fix the big pieces and see if the smaller pieces then just settle in, if they don't, THEN trade them.

    The Rockets fell apart a few years ago when Bobby Sura got hurt. They haven't had a good PG running the show since then.

    First of all, you can not judge a player based on one or several bad games. Saying he is a ball-stopper is just a myth as the entire team is still trying to find the gear and Ron is better off bench for instant offense---and tonight is just not his night;

    Secondly, 10 of our 15 players are soft (smart) players, that list exclude Ron, AB, DEKE, Wafer and we don't know anything about the NBDL guy's game. When you have so many guys who would likely fold in clutch time, you need somebody like Ron to take some crazy, boneheaded shots, he is one of those who can and will make them when pressure gets under your nerve;

    Thirdly, if you think this roster can not make it to the playoff (with or without Ron), I do not think we will be able to communicate further;

    Finally, if this team does go to the playoffs, nobody would be a better candidate to share the load from 111 and kick that "second round virgin" monkey off their back...

    Artest sucked, but WTF who is this Tracy girl, just because you made most money in the team, you are entitled to take whatever shots you wants and even if you does score 2 points, you must then give back 4, 5 points. Has you no shame?

    Because of McMe's sucky deffense, and Tracy girl's brain fart, we threw away our chance of a W.

    I think RA has good intention and game plan, and it is hard to let your highest paid person sit on the bench when the game is on the line, but it was not like we were ahead 30 points, in fact we were 6 points behind, it is not the time to show off her sucky curve and softporn like deffense.

    You are on a team, you are supposed to be helpful on court or as a cheerleader. when sth is working, you don't go away from it. But sadly for rockets, some fuking sucker must hajack the team run away from what was working everytime the team was supposed to make a run.

    Just can't stand McMe's littleness. I guess that is what people say she has no heart.

    Haha I agree! Sura was one of my ALL TIME favorite Rockets to watch and he only played here for a little while. His passion/emotion was un-comparable to anyone currently on the team. We should hire him as an assistant coach. He'd light a fire under the our lazy players @sses!
