You guys are too impatient, suggesting trading Artest after 1 bad game. I'm glad our GM is Morey, who will only make a trade if it is really beneficial to us. All I'm saying is let's be a little more patient, wait until the trading deadline and if things don't improve and there's a trade that makes sense, then let's do it.

Don't forget the injury bug has infected us hard again this season, if we can just get healthy and get back to jvg defense and make our layups, we should be fine. Big ifs though I know.

i have to agree with the OP, ron artest really hasn't been as big of a factor as I thought he would be, he's like the old t-mac in a way, he just stops the offense completely, then everyone wonders why we go through scoring droughts....i'd say don't trade him though, just drop the dead weight during the off-season and save that money up for 2010 or sign a all-star caliber free agent during the offseason.

    battier refuse to score
    Tmac refuses to play D

I agree about the 3point shooting (and not Corey)!! Three possessions in a row missed three, missed three, missed three... Almost all of our players seem to be one dimensional (poor 3point shooters). I just don't get it. I guess we live and die by the three and right now we are decomposing...

Everyone needs to calm down. All i ever read on here is threads hating on the ROX. Yes... this season has been disappointing so far mainly because of what we are so famous for... injuries. We have played like crap the whole first half of the season, and we are still in the playoff race in the brutal western conference. All this time that our stars are missing is time that other super stars in the league are battling every night.

It would be crazy for us to trade Artest. We are trying to build chemistry and shuffling players around would only hurt that. You tell me a team that wants to face a team with Ron Artest and Shane Battier on the defensive end come playoff time.

i honestly think rafer is the only one holding us back. i have a feeling morey will pull a trade and ship rafer out. i love skip for all the great moments he has brought to houston, but its time for him to leave.

AND BALL MOVEMENT + DEFENSE= WINS

please rockets. do not waste this talented roster. that also has depth. :(

I agree with that statement of yours 110%.

What I want to see is AB starting and Alston coming off the bench, anyone else agree?

Also, why isn't Super Von getting more shot attempts, or let alone handle the ball so he can drive in?! He OWNS and creates so many problems when he drives in the lane. But barely gets the ball. Needs to change asap.

Yao getting owned in the paint numerous times without getting a dayum foul called is getting ridiculous now. Video footage needs to be sent to the Commissioner because seriously come playoff time, all those ref's better know how to ref and give Yao the calls he deserves.

I'm also not worried about the rockets, just yet. We are in the middle of the playoff picture, and it's not even all star break yet. Everyone needs to seriously stop bit..in around about how we need to trade so and so or why so and so had a horrible game! We all just gotta sit back tyte and relax until April comes around and see who's facing us. And if we luckily (sarcasm) have to play the jazz again, i'll be speechless for sure. I'll probably cry. Because the outcome has been the same.

Anyways I hope the whole TEAM decides to play like it's the playoffs come playoff time (better make it) because well, you know houston's situation.

When Von was in the game, Ron was in the game, and Ron took all the shots. I was amazed when Worrell said Von has only taken 2 shots. Ron's shot attempts should of gone to Von and Scola

Nope, he had played well enough before, see his games versus Utah (OT win). Even he played well against the 76ers even though we lost. You guys are panicking too much, I'm just glad Morey has control over trades and not some of you guys. :)

The biggest problem is tmac, who doesn't play defense at all.
When a team play with only 4 players defensively, the outcome is predictable.

To me this would be easy if they team had been healthy. But they've barely played together so it's hard to know what this team really is.

Guess we'll see what DM does.
