trading Artest. He does have his moments, but he takes so many god damn shots, its incredible. He does defend well but he doesn't fit our offense at all. RA is struggling with lineups the whole season to fit Artest to the system and none of them are working. I propose trading him for another SF who plays team ball and plays D well. He is taking shots away from everybody else!!

Trade Artest for a PG. He is highly overrated on defense and his offense is atrocious.

    What? Hinrich?

In order here would be my targets for Artest.

    1. Magette
    1A. Hinrich
    3. A. Miller
    4. M. Miller

I would be happy with any of those.

I know how you felt from the beginning, still the Rox are trying to get the Big 3 to work no matter what. When will they'll realize

The way I feel about Artest right now is similar to the way one feels when they realize their new girlfriend just isn't compatible with them. It's not that she's a terrible person, or that you hate everything about her, but she's just not right for you.

Its a failure IMO, clearly Ron Artest wants to take all the shots, he doesn't want to pass or doesn't know how and the Rockets will lose first round again, sad.

BTW, this is the 4th Ron Artest thread started in last 30 min ;)

So we have two overrated defensive stoppers.

    Great.

If Artest is gone, Rox will need a backup to Battier, and Shane is not having a great year either. Thats why they have to go for a SF.

I agree!! Got to get whatever we can, because I don't see us (nor do I want us to) signing him after this year. I don't hate the guy, he just isn't the answer we all thought he would be.

Agreed, I wish we would have less people overreacting after one game. Memphis gives us match up problems, their is no way around that. Remember Carl Landry and Scola had foul issues as well. In fact, where was Carl tonight?

How is it crazy?? If we don't make it out of the first round with him, then the trade for him was a failure, and we get nothing out of it. If we trade him now, at least we can get a decent player and maybe our draft pick back.

Carl was busy picking up 5 quick fouls, with no offensive output whatsoever.

Carl played horrible, but he is not one of the Big 3. I am not overreacting from 1 game, this is from a view of watching all the games this year, things look awkward when Ron is in the lineup. Another FGs 1-10 game for him, with how many 3pt attempts, I lost count
