If Mo can keep playing like he has the last few games, he should be resigned. He has the "potential" to be just as good as Webber if he is utilized properly. Keep in mind that he is only 23, and still has plenty of time to get better.

Actually newguy, whoever said that we won't have enough caproom is correct. Take a look at http://rocketdavo.tripod.com
As the roster currently stands, our payroll will be approx $35.6Mil next year (removing Bryce Drew) and the Salary Cap is expected to increase to around $42.5 - $43 Mil. That won't be near enough to sign someone like to Webber to a max contract. If we want to put ourselves in the market we will have to make some personnel movements.

yes croshere is an upgrade over kt, but i want to add him in addition to mo..i love dream but i dont want himm here past this yr.. hes way beyond his glory yrs. Although i dont want croshere if it costs us mo..taylor will be resigned as his play will improve.. i cant believe nbatalk has him listed on the rockets trade block..wont happen.. i guarantee mo will be resigned this yr as he has proven he is a future star and our pf of the future. his rbs will improve..As for kt, apologies aside to dean, kt brings only hustle to the table, and i hate how he jacks up threes..no pf and c should shoot as many threes as he does..unless ur a larry bird type..Cwebb is dreamcasting by the way.. what id like to see happen..rockets reup mo, and shandon trade for croshere and draft morris/battier and a big man (pf or c)or trade up for loren woods

i sure as hell hope we talking about dale davis the guy that's 6'11 not antonio who's only 6'9.... dale davis would be a great addition to the lineup. he's rough tough and i think sure as heck give us a defensive presence... i wouldn't want him to get the ball at clutch and i'd be kinda worried about him havin the ball at the last second but i'm sure he'd be great defensively for us. he's 32 but 32 is just a number as long as he can still bang and bruise and kill i sure as hell would not mind having a bruiser on the lineup.. we can use him against guys like shaq or malone. maybe houston can give utah a little something of our own... heck if we can't draw out those centers outside their comfort zone in the paint with a sharp shootin center then we might as well get someone to beat them out of their position. if davis wants to play for houston for a reasonable amount.... i'm talking pretty cheap and we can sign in a guy at powerforward like webber and keep shandon (a must) then i say go for it.... i wouldn't mind seeing a starting lineup of
    pg-francis
    sg-mobes
    sf-anderson
    pf-webber
    c-davis

bench mooch walt bullard cato and who ever else we wanna keep and we still got da cash for.... but walt as reports say is a bench player and should be a bench player anderson starts straight out

The potential to be as good as Webber?? What are you smoking? Webber is bigger, stronger and faster. He has also been more dominating than Mo on all levels of compitition. While I agree Mo has played better lately (and I hope he continues) he still has not showed the type of aggresiveness on the boards that we need. He also needs to show that he can be an offinsive force night in and night out. Tonights game against the Spurs gives him a chance at three good games in a row. Thats not nearly enough to start comparing him to Webber!
