I think Sean is a travelling salesman. He lived here in Houston for a while, making numerous appearances on 610's morning show. I don't think he is from here originally as I've heard him talk trash about Houston as a whole. I think his brother was the kicker from Notre Dame (?) that was caught fixing games...my memory is kinda bleak though.
That greg guy should have been DQ'd for the crack on the caddy with Lou Gherig's disease, that was as wrong as wrong can get.
Sean and I are actually really good friends..He's more of a traveling manager. He lives in Denver but plans to move back to...MAGNOLIA!...(thank you very much) in a year or two. He has some acreage off of 1488 on which he and his wife intend to build. Yeah his brother was the guy in the gambling scandal. He's a class guy, consumately professional and courteous. He just happens to be a sports nut. Aren't we all?
Agreed...we were standing in line by Sean during the first Rome tour stop and didn't know it and turns out he is a pretty nice guy. Of course once the clones in the immediate area heard who he was, they began drooling and stumbling all over themselves. I know a lot of people don't like Rome's schtick, but that first tour stop at SRO was a lot of fun. Outside sucks!
Don't know if anyone listens to the jungle regularly here...I used to... Anyway we did a mock tribute song for Sean. If you have been listening this week you know he has been 'Big Leaguing' Romey after his victory. He's calling in tomorrow and he got a copy of the song to Travis. I don't know if they will be playing it but I think they will. As always my boys on CC.net get the first stab at it. Sean Lemme know...
No..the thursday show. We just finished it today at about 9 p.m. I might not be able to listen so let me know if it is on. Chance
Fine with me..in fact..put it on KaZaA...make sure the artist is Pulltab. It's not like this one will be on any CD's!
That song is sweet! I hope you get some airtime on Rome today. The only thing lacking in the song was a crackback on that redneck in Richmond...Jeff!
Yeah, I heard it. Loved the Westheimer reference and how Sean wasn't gonna share it with Denver. I expected to hear the song though, didn't happen.
Sean called in, but they didn't play it so far. Sean did say "war Pulltab." Should I flood their e-mail box and tell them to play the damn song?
Chance-- First off, do you remember meeting me that day in the studio right before Christmas when I was sitting in on Marc Vandermeer's show? For everyone else who hasn't met Chance: super nice guy. As for the song, once again you have outdone yourself. I have no doubt that eventually Romey will have to play the song. I wrote in the e-mail that Rome read today that mentioned Sean, the REAL champion. Props to Chance on the song, war Sean winning an unprecedented 3rd Smack-off, and war Houston sports.
