Chase has the potential to be a star in this league one day. He can handle the ball, shoot from anywhere on the court, high IQ, athleticism, and a distributor. I know that with hard work, dedication and time, he will shine bright.

Not even close, CBud was well within the rules his 2nd step where he puts both feet down is a jump stop, if he pivoted off either of those, that would be a travel, but since he went straight up and shot.

    It was all good.

In baseball terms Chase would be described as a 5 tool player. I think he is going to be a fantastic starter for the Rockets for years to come.

    Dear lord.

For a guy who went nuts over someone using Billups' 6 game playoff sample, you're going to quote a 4 game regular season sample?

Defense is typically in those toolboxes. Not the cheap Ace brand either. Snap-on, warrantied defense. Just saying...

    Yes, my son?

I was commenting on the article, clearly it would be great if he could sustain that, but honestly that would be a lot to ask for from him.

But who wouldn't want 17-6 from a starting SF, that would be great with all the talent we have in Houston now.

If he stays and is not traded, he may get there one day.

Show me one game that MJ did not travel in. I think he traveled every time he touched the ball.

The concentrated on offense and showed none of his crisp passes and defense. Granted, he is known for his offense but he has developing skills in other areas.

Didn't Dream do it too? Since when was traveling called in the NBA? OK, when rookies and non-designated stars/superstars do it.

Chase should be off limits to any trade - the kid can become a major scorer in the league. I wouldn't be surprised by 20 PPG+ in a couple years - hell, maybe even this year.

Unfortunately, I think that Budinger will get part of any package for Carmelo Anthony.

    Brooks, Budinger, Martin, Hill

Carmelo Anthony is still in the prime of his career. He is a scoring machine.

Here's hoping we'll be partying with Bud for many years to come. He has the tools to become a very good player. The Rockets need to really think long and hard before they include him in any trade, even if it's for Melo.

The guy has a "Marvel Comic Hero" name. I think what motivated him to play so well or do anything in life so well is because he has to live up to the name given to him. If your name is Chase Budinger, there would be tremendous pressure to do well too.
