With all the talk about acquiring guards i think tmac's staying at the 3 and battier will be primarily a 4. Battier's here to replace swift, shotblocker for shotblocker.

Look, if Yao and T-Mac come back and play the way they were before they went down with injuries then who cares what Memphis X or Billy Fred Pie R Cube say or think. Hello who cares? Do you think Gasol will get the best of Yao especially now? Oh yeah, Griz whats your answer for T-Mac? Probably the same one that got u punk'd by the Mavs. Nada ... Like that dude said earlier. Owen. 0 and 12. Enough said. Render an opinion, Memphis X only when your team has the ability to be something more than fart fodder for your opponent. :D

In the meantime, you are the weakest link, goodbye ...

Isn't Battier a 3? I am not convinced Battier can be a starting 4. I believe he is only 6'8 and 220 lb. Can he compete with all the other strong, tall 4 on the other teams?

    memphis x,

I have a question for you. Given that you have a weak power forward who fades in big games and he is your star max contract player, was it that you were expecting too much from shane battier who is more of a glue guy?

In other words, with two stars on a team in Yao and Tracy, couldn't you see battier's role as invaluable. A do it all player that doesn't need the ball in his hands.

I honestly think it's Gasol's weaknesses that created this trade from the grizzlies side. They know they have to roll the dice on a a player because they need another star to pair with Pao. (please don't say that mike miller is a star)
