    My heart wants him to stay in Houston but my brain is saying he should go to a contender. He would be perfect with the Celtics or Heat.

    For those who worry about the new CBA being 'favorable' toward teams that have made stupid decisions...

    Don't worry. Those teams will still make the same mistakes over and over again.
    Our front office will find a way to take advantage of whatever situation it may be. For eg: in the case of an extendable amnesty clause, there are teams with multiple bad contracts. Since we don't have one, we can absorb someone else's horrible contract and waive it. My point is that we'll be fine no matter how this deal turns out.

    It's unclear whether that will be allowed, with at least one report that it will not.

    Personally, I think they should allow the "trade-and-waive" amnesty as a way to fairly compensate the more prudent teams.
