I don't think that was Oski's point. It's so common to hear that the Simpsons have maybe been around so long that it really isn't much of a point of debate. But everytime a thread comes up, someone feels the need to throw in the 'simpsons suck/old/past their prime' comment. As though we haven't heard it (and for a lot of folks agree with it) before. I may be wrong, but I really don't think he was commenting on your point about it being 10 years too late.
