I remember watching it and saying, "worst episode ever" right after it ended. Man it was pretty bad..
In the past year I rewatched all fifteen seasons of The Simpsons and have to say The Simpsons has been pretty consistent, with some shows that seem to rely too much on gags or falling flat every once in a while every season. This was contrary to my recollection of watching the show when it first came out. I also watched all four seasons of Futurama for the first time. There were a couple of brilliant episodes mixed in with many good and sometimes OK episodes. The Star Trek reunion rocked. As of last season, The Simpsons still had what they had before.
I thought tonight's episode was pretty dang funny. Even the worst Simpsons episode is better than 95 percent of the trash out there.
I no longer look forward to Sunday night tv to watch FOX anymore, not it's all about Adult Swim. Gotta love their sunday night lineup.
Actually, the big fat obnoxious boss show is incredibly funny. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like any reality shows. Never cared for Millionaire, Survivor, Apprentice, none of them.
I thought last night's ep was hilarious. Homer day dreams about meeting the other food mascots and he hugs the twinkie til all of his cream pops out and he dies. Then the other mascots start ganging up on him and chanting "blood for cream, blood for cream." And then when it cuts back to homer in the real world, he's chanting it too. That gag never gets old.
