I agree totally. It's hard for Artest to guard just one man because T-Mac is getting abused badly. He can't keep anyone infront of him at all when he's on defense. It's hurting the team and Artest especially.

You think Alston can be affect off the bench like AB would? I don't know about that. I'm not saying Alston is great in the starting line up but I like the scoring that AB brings off the bench. It kinda reminds me of Kenny and Sam back in the day. But at least Kenny could hit the 3's better.

I would rather Alston get moved to the bench completely.......he is a liability this year on offense and defense....but if he is going to be in the rotation, I want his minutes limited something fierce.

I think the more we get into the season, the less we'll see Alston play. I think AB is going to take a lot of minutes away from Alston. You saw it last night. AB played most of the 2nd, 4th and the OT. But Alston is not that bad on defense. I know you much of been shocked when he scored as much as he did last night.

I don't know if Morey will be able to make a good trade for a PG. I think he has too much faith in Alston. Look at his interviews.

Brooks is pretty good now but still not enough to point our team in the crisis period. We used to judge luther head as a good player by his brilliant performances in the regular seasons of 05-06 and 06-07, but he's prove himself a crap of playoffs. I'm not sure if brooks is also a playoff chocker so that we'd better have a veteran PG to push us further in the playoffs. Our team is pretty good on paper but we should still make some "minor" moves to fix the PG hole and C hole. Deke is gonna give an answer to the C problem but how about the PG problem? It's not a smart to trade your lineup PG for an upgrade because the new upgrader need some time to adjust to your systerm, and the adjustment may takes the hole season or even the playoffs.(take a look at the Mavs who traded Devin for Kidd) We need another pretty good PG to remind rafer that he's not a franchise player on our team, his place would be immediately taken if he plays bad or gets arrested.

Delonte west plays for cavs now, but there are three good PGs there. Delonte will have more game time in houston sothat he would like to join us, and cavs need a scoring PF(ben can't score at all, varejoe is no better than ben). so, we may put landry on the table as bait before his trading value decreases. If possible, it's better to take in head to take varejoe back, then we would have a rebounding machine. All in all, delonte is good at shooting so he's able to post up the defense. his defense is also way better than rafer and he knows celtics team thoroughly.

sometimes his choics on shoot is not that wise, still a long way for him shining.

Rafer is still the first choice hopefully he'll back no normal soon.

And, where is the door for SF3!? :(

Just look at the stats between Rafer and Brooks.....Clutchfans team stats

Brooks is much more effective in far fewer minutes...I wonder what theire +/- are for the year.

Brooks is just playing with more confidence now, imo. He was doing a lot of the same things last year but the shots were clanging instead of going in.

Unfortunately though, it looks like he has tunnel vision when he is driving. He misses some real easy passes to others that he creates with his drives because he is centered solely on the bucket. And if the d is in good position around the rim it's either a TO or a really bad crosscourt pass that's begging to be a turnover to someone out on the perimeter.

But he certainly brings more to the table than Alston at this point.

He passes very well to Landry and Scola because they move to open space on the baseline for the midrange jumper...which allows Brooks to suck in the D and make an easy pass.

He does not work that well on the pass yet with Yao, Tmac and Artest....they don't know where to go when AB is making his move.....

    It will come in time.

I don't care who starts but Aaron deserves more minutes then Rafer and he should play the 4th qtr in tight games. It's really painfully obvious at this point.

Anyone want to make a bet that Brooks moves in as starter sometime this season?

Brooks can make a bounce pass to Yao, a big guy. That alone is pretty impressive.

    Rafer can't, btw.

Yes, you are right, so far Brooks is only a complete NBA player on the team. He has done this from the preseason, then is doing now. He is not only a keeper, but a possible starter, but I do not think Rafer can do better job off the bench, he need play with Tmac, and Yao, specially with TMac.

maybe next season, when he's better at running an offense. right now he's just a hired gun off the bench, but he's been really good at it.

im pleasantly suprised by AB. he's playing with so much confidence right now. plus he soared to get that rebound late in the game. he's doing the same thing he did last season, except he doesn't look lost or hesitant on offense. also im suprised opposing PG's aren't taking it to him. either AB bulked up a bit or his defense has improved. probably both.
