UH loses a close one 80-77. Very disappointing considering how well they played at the beggining of the year.
UTEP flat beat us. I don't know why we ran out of gas so badly at the end of the season but we did. 21-6 then losing 3 out of 4. Be tough to replace Fluff. But on the plus side maybe some of the other guys will learn how to make a shot when it counts.
The Show is over. I hope now we actually get an offense put in place. "Run down the court and look for a 3" doesn't seem to be working.
Of course the show is over. The Three Ds don't work. Defense - A Penders team of freshmen playing defense. Bwah ha ha! Destination - The Tournament was obviously not their destination. It's the 3pt time every shot. Who needs high percentage shots when you can jack up 76 3s a night? Determination - Shot's not falling? Team's not doing well? This whole "not playing defense" thing losing you games? Don't worry! STAY DETERMINED! If you do the same thing over and over again, you're BOUND to get different results, right?
So much promise, but yeah, you can't jack up 1 million three's and expect to win...their transition D suck, well, their D suck, but I guess there's always the NIT... Do you think Penders will get one more year? I think so, but damn its' the tourney or bust...
