Chuck is becoming one of my all time favorite Rockets, right up there with Dream.

If Daryl Morey doesn't find a way to get Chuck on a Lowry-esque deal, I will never forgive him. (I know that he will find a way.)

The new CBA might prevent teams from S&T if they are over the tax.

Chuck lets people shoot over him as much as he takes charges.

Hayes didn't really play in the Portland series, unless you consider ~5 mpg a statistical sample. He didn't play until Yao got injured in the Laker's series.

He got trampled by Aldridge in Game 2.

dude, he was primarily guarded by Scola and Landry -- who totalled >48 minutes. Hayes guarded Pryzbilla and Oden, for 13 minutes behind Yao. The only time Hayes guarded Aldridge was in key strategic sequences, because Scola and Landry were failing on Aldridge.

Whatever, people still shoot over him.

What? Are they going to shoot under him... Making someone shoot over you is much better than letting them drive around you. Plus, he doesn't let anyone back him in. They have to shoot over him from a position of the court where Hayes wants them to be. That said, I agree, Gasol does that runner against him. That's a hard match-up.

OK, so you admit you're wrong about the Portland series, then?

    Here's the Post-Game analysis thread.

25 pages...see if you can find ONE PERSON who agrees with you that Hayes had anything to do with Aldridge going off.

That's the frikking point. It's better to have your man shoot a J (in Chuck's case often a contested J) than penetrate the defense. Did Shane play bad defense on Kobie because Kobie had to shoot over him? S**t no.

Chuck doesn't let his man shoot over him. He forces him to.

Would it be nice if he was 6'10"? Would it be nice if he had longer arms? Yes, it would. I'd like a pony for christmas too. By the way, his size makes it easier for the Rockets to do a lot of switches with other wingmen in defensive schemes on the perimieter.

Chuck is one of the best man-on-man positional defenders in the entire league; some would say the best. Also one of the best help defenders. We got his services for like, what? 2 mil?

An astute fan finally noticed. I'm sure other GMs have known for quite some time.

Houston won't be anywhere close to the tax when the lockout lifts.

Once Shane got traded, the role player love brigade switched to Chuck.

He did indeed, quite an impressive feat.

He has made the most out of what he has...by far, a shining example of hard work and brains...

And some of the most ridiculous lateral quickness and strength seen from the position (PF), seriously...
