YES!!! we can agree on something!! iam very happy to see this lol....i know ive given you alot of grief with some of my posts , but i do agree that lawson will transform us into an unstoppable offense, no doubt in my mind.
And while his defense isnt great , i do think he isnt getting enough credit when ppl say its awful, because it isnt awful its just isnt great.
+ his man will be too tired ttrying to guard lawson dwight P&R :)

The DeMarcus Cousins worship is just incredible. The guy can't stay in shape long enough to avoid another injury. His game is virtually Rasheed Wallace but he's carrying an extra 90lbs.

If Rasheed Wallace played like Rasheed Wallace for his entire career he'd be one of the best big men in NBA history. No joke. Dude could bang down low with the best of them AND play defense AND stretch out and hit 3s...

So ummm...I'd take that. I don't think he's as good as Sheed was though. At least not yet.

Eight-TEEN, alright, lets make a deal. TJones, Nick Johnson and 18.

That would be sweet, but to move into #6 slot where we could potential bring in Mudiay might take more than T jones/Johnson/18. If they take it though, DO IT ALL DAY LONG

I could name 5 other players I'd take before him. Lebron, curry, wade, Irving, Michael jordan

It's not happening, but if I had to guess, the #6 pick would cost a minimum of DMo and #18

I can envision a scenario where DM would pull the trigger on that IF Mudiay was still there (or Russell).

I would do it, even considering the team clearly isn't in a lotto pick for 3 years from now mode. Mudiay has seen some mature professional league play, into playoffs, and does have crazy upside to the point where when you might be in the end of your run with Dwight, you'd be at the begging of a run with Harden/Mudiay.

You obviously want to still upgrade the PF position, and would rather trade Jones. Jones and any combination of players not names Harden, Dwight, DMo, Capela, Ariza and of course you pull the trigger. But substitute DMo for Jones and if the guy DM would really want is there, I'd do that for sure. But for me it'd have to be Mudiay or Russell (Considering KAT, Okafor, Porzingis already gone).

Kings still won't, though, imo. In reality, Cousins + DMo is a pretty interesting 5/4 combo. Add the #18 and Nick Johnson... and it's not horrible value when you consider that #6 pick might also be a complete bust.

Of course we'd consider TJones+#18 for #6. Too much value to pass up.

Willie Stein WILL certainly still be on the board, but I suspect the Kings aren't targeting him given his foot issues.

I am definitely not high on that dude. I don't understand his skill-set enough.

You'd think that Vlade would be pro Hezonja... but maybe the Kings think their set with Rudy Gay??

DraftExpress has Mudiay slipping to 7. NBAdraft has him 4th to the Knicks. CBSSports has him 6th.

I'm not as high on Hezonja as some, but would see DM pulling the trigger for him, too.

We have a very good history trading with sactown. Does anybody think if we move up that high booker might be the target depending if we also settle our PG need if llull comes over?

TJ, 18th, 32nd, 3M cash for the 6th and fillers. I doubt if that will be enough, but that is the best that we can do, without giving up our core( H and H and Ariza). D-Mo's injury has made it hard to trade him.

Nothing against Booker, but I hope not. He is no Klay Thompson on defense. Doc Rocket did mention that Houston was interested in him, but Morey should go after Winslow, Mario H, or Mudiay if they are available.
Gotta swing big at a high pick.

How about F-CK YES!!! You do that deal if the Kings are game. Of course that's contingent on re-signing Smith(and maybe adding Scola). But we could get a very good rotation player at #6.

The Los Angeles Lakers have emerged as one of the most determined trade suitors for Sacramento Kings All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN that the Lakers have been actively pursuing trade scenarios in recent weeks in attempt to construct a deal that would convince the Kings to part with Cousins.

The Kings, though, continue to insist that Cousins is not available. The team's new lead decision maker, Vlade Divac, told the Sacramento Bee in Sunday's editions that dealing away his best player "is not happening."

Sources say that the Lakers, Kings and Orlando Magic have had exploratory dialogue on a three-way Cousins trade that would land the 24-year-old in Los Angeles. All three teams hold top-six picks in Thursday's NBA draft, and Orlando has a young top-flight center of its own in Nikola Vucevic, who could theoretically fill the Cousins void.

Yet since assuming control of the Kings' front office in April, Divac repeatedly has downplayed the idea of parting with Cousins, who has three seasons left on an extension he signed during the summer of 2013.

The Lakers would appear to have limited assets to get into the trade sweepstakes for Cousins -- in the event Sacramento's stance changes -- beyond surrendering prized young big man Julius Randle and/or the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday's draft.

Orlando holds the fifth pick in the draft but would presumably expect a lot to be willing to part with Vucevic, who signed an extension of his own last October and has become the most consistently productive player from the four-team blockbuster trade in August 2012 that sent Dwight Howard from the Magic to the Lakers.
