Yeah, I am just terrified of these Catholics who are pouring across our Southern border. LOL! When I was a young man, I worked with many of them. Now that I am older, I gladly employ them. They do jobs that lazy Americans won't do, and they add greatly to our economy. They share our values, love freedom, and love our culture. Sure, they tend to vote Democrat and support the Dallas Cowboys- but nobody is perfect. To compare these fine people (95% of them at least) to the Muslims in Western Europe is laughable.
This sounds awesome...and I wish it were true. It may have been true at one time. But not in my lifetime.
There are TONS of potential issues you are entirely missing, and it is not just based on them being "Catholics" in a Protestant nation. There is language, there is education (or lack thereof), and a myriad of other issues that are VERY REAL to a good chunk of the American public. I am glad you are OK with it, but there are tens of millions (if not hundreds of millions) of Americans who have a HUGE problem with the 'changing face' of America. As one small example of this: how many cities and towns have passed legislation to make English the official spoken language? At least in the case of those Euro Muslims they are fully integrated on the linguistic side of things and they live largely in nations with strong federal governments that publicly espouse secular values in schools and all government institutions. And I like the arbitrary "95% of them at least" disclaimer in your post above. Are you implying, on the flip side, that less "95% of them" Euro Muslims are upstanding citizens who are just going about their daily lives? If so, then it sounds to me more like you are buying into the outright bigotry pushed by right wing radio and websites that all Muslims have some sorta secret agenda to overthrow government and spread shariah by the sword. And I guess I would not be surprised if that is the crowd you hang with since many of your posts allude to your level of ignorance or, at least, lack of intellectual honesty.
