Oh yeah. I think it's best to stay in the Astros or Texans or Hangout forum. For a long while it's all gonna be about how player X sucks, Morey is stupid, McFail is a failure, and Les is cheap. After a month or so of that, the GARM should go back to its normal level of craziness.
Texans Forum is better than the GARM right now? I don't go in there often, but when I do, it seems that the majority of posts are from people I've ignored from other forums. I don't have many people on my ignore list...I usually ignore for rudeness, racial content, excessive ad hominem attacks. Every time the GARM dies, it comes back stronger.
Psh, that's where the scrubs go. It all about Edit: to comment on the topic at hand, I checked the sane forums before the GARM, but holy mess, it is a horror show in there! I mean, DD, CH, tinman, and all the trolls are in full force. It is comically horrible at the moment.
There's like 2-3 people who troll hard in the Texans forum. Put them on ignore and as long as no one feeds the trolls it ain't so bad.

I would have to agree with the sentiment. Nick Wright is a terrible radio personality. He has no sports knowledge and tends to take the most progressive/ethical positions on any non-sport issue to curry favor with fans. Everything he does is an attempt to become bigger than a local radio host but he has no personality and no fresh takes to get him there. Narcissistic and not funny. I'll take an infraction if that's the consequence for calling out that fool.
While Nick Wright's political agenda and him always injecting it into the sports debate does disgust me, I have the same disgust for posters that put posts into the GARM that are not only off the thread topic, but also not about the Rockets, not about the NBA, and not even about basketball. When you post off-topic and then your post is not only off-topic but it's word fights, calling names and denigrating others you destroy the GARM. I think you should get 3 strikes and then get a timeout for about 6 months. GARM stands for game action and roster moves. So the threads and posts in there should be about the Rockets playing and the Rockets transactions. Not ad hominem text wars between posters trying to punk other posters like school yard kids.
You need to open your eyes to the fact that most users on here think you're a hack. Have you ever considered why so many people "attack" you? You think everyone else on CF is delusional, and you're always right. They aren't the delusional ones; that's you.
