The sad, lonely, discouraging Terrence Jones season

Well DM did try to go after Bosh and Aldridge, so there was a plan, but it seems neither found enough good reasons to come here.

 

TJones is legit a nightmare to watch and I am sad I ever had to sit through him playing for this team.

IMO he is the least talented member of the Rockets ever, and I remember Pete Chillcutt and Dan Langhi.

I hope he never plays in the NBA again. Major disgrace to the game. An insult to all the players who never make it to the league.

Haha. This trend you describe applies to every team's big men with a few exceptions. Not everyone is Tim Duncan. Most big men get an injury or don't stay with the same team their whole career.

 

Terence Jones will reach his potential once he reaches puberty & his voice breaks...

 

I think the Jones Group demanding $15 million a year given his performance gave D. Howard the balls to mail it in and pout while trying to obtain a super max contract next year. Howard might literally be that dumb.

But did his agent actually ask for that amount or is that a figure stuck in your head from the ESPN article (and thread in this forum, somewhere) in which Kevin Pelton or Zachary Lowe speculated on the contract Jones might demand?

 

So do we know the whole story about why Terrence Jones doesn't play at all anymore? Is he injured? Suspended? What's going on?

Not to say I think he would improve the team by playing, but it is weird to go from starting to not playing at all without some sort of explanation.

 

The reason is that he is objectively, by Real +/-, the worst PF in the NBA. No hyperbole.

Who did we not get that would have been willing to sign or was available via trade? They wanted Love, that didn't workout. The were minutes away from Bosh, (I was glad that fell through), Aldridge picked the Spurs. The draft has had no can't miss 4's that we should have targeted.

In case anyone doesn't know how Rob McClanaghan is or are too lazy to search him up: he's simply just a professional basketball trainer that has worked with a good amount of players in their early years. His top 3 guys are Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, and Derrick Rose. May not be able to help much with Terrence Jones, but it's nice seeing he's actually trying to get better.
