Actually, I'm less worried about PHO and LAC than I am the lesser teams. Houston seems to play great on the road, and tends to rise to the level of competition, playing great against the great teams. Now that almost everyone is back, we should be able to beat anyone. Where we will have problems, will be at home against lesser teams. We are very adrenaline addicted. Actually, I think this is due to JVG's hyper pushing everyone to be UP. You can only do that so often, and then you let down.
13-0 based on great road record. PHX is beatable and LAC never played great aganist any contender, HOU looks a contender right now.

Great thread dude. I like your attitude. Of course i am writing this post Tues Feb. 7 after you first prediction of cruisin through the first four games of February already came true. Close game against the Bucks but i was never worried. whooped up on seattle, Close in new york but again, i was confident, and last night was just ugly, just awful officiating, worse than the super bowl, but as B.W. said a game like that is a test of wills, and they pulled through. I hope the Rockets prove you to be the notradamus of Rockets basketball for the rest of this strech.
It's nice to have at least some sort of feeling of excitement about the Rockets games. I remember the ride that they took us on over the second half of last season was really fun and I *LOVED* that big game we had against the Suns in Phoenix. It was amazing. Too bad Juwon got hurt. On a side note, does anyone know when Amare is coming back? I'd love to see Yao dominate him again.

L (45-37) Can the Rockets make the playoff with a record of (45-37)? That is the biggest question...I have confident that they will win more then 42 game by season's end.
You guys have to count in fatigue and other variables. If you look at the Pistons' schedule you'd think that every game this season is winnable for them, right? Yet they just lost to Atlanta. Their entire schedule is "winnable" for them. Yet the have 8 (or 9?) losses. It has nothing to do with what game is winnable or not, it has to do with intensity, commitment, hustle, and the shots just going in. Sometimes those things are just not there. However if JVG keeps the team always thinking about the next game and not looking at the big picture, we should be fine. He needs to keep this team down to earth and not let them get ahead of themselves, no matter how much the wins keep piling up. I wish I wish I wish I wish that the Rockets can go undefeated, because I agree all these games are winnable, it depends on whether the hunger is there or not. It should be there, we're so far out of the playoffs as of right now. But a 10 game winning streak (in progress) should help that out a little .
i agree bro. with yao and tracy healthy..every game is winnable for us. we just gotta do it. 12-6 this year with yao and tracy on the court..that translates to around 66%. mathmatically that's 42-40 record for the remaining games. we would have 50 wins minimum if they played the entire season. but oh well. heres to hoping 2 games over .500 is enuf for a 7th or 8th spot.
i'd really like to win out to the all star game, that would give all the analysts something to talk about. that whole weekend they are here.
Yeah all they would talk about is how the home town team is on a 9 game winning streak. Therefore the rest of the world would know that the Rockets are back on track and back in business. So the rest of the NBA naturally pisses themselves because they know they can't really deal with the rockets' red glare.
