LOL...whatever. I am from Memphis and when my hometown got a team, I became a fan. No I was not lucky enough to have grown up in an NBA city but I think I am getting the hang of it . Bandwagon? Nah, that is not me. If I were a bandwagoner I would be a Los Angeles Bulls fan.

Is it really just to troll and make an ass of yourself? To get a bunch of new enemies? (Since you're obviously not here for friends) Did you withstand months and months of being mocked and jeered at around here just so you could cherish a glorious stretch of games where the Grizzlies are ahead of the Rockets, which may have never even come? Awww, poor Memphis X. The Rockets are pretty much in the catbird seat, they have a 6 game lead in the loss column over Utah. And you can't make up losses, so essentially the Rockets have a 6 game lead AND the tiebreaker vs Utah and Portland. So try to handle success better, and try not to worry about the Rockets so much. And if this post and other Rockets fans post bother you well here's some advice, don't post on a Rockets message board! Heck, we're ranked ahead of the Denver Nuggets, I'm not trolling the Denver Nuggets message board, what's the use? I'm more then happy with the Rockets success then to rub it in the face of a Nuggets team that is ALSO in position to make the playoffs.

BTW, before you trash talk yourself into banhood, I will let you in on a little advice. Since you are new at being an NBA fan, and the Grizzlies are new at being anything other than completely inept, getting the 6th seed in the playoffs isn't really something to brag about, given that about half the league makes the playoffs. I suggest you put a lid on it for a while, because it's really not that cool to talk a lot of noise and then get spanked 4-1 or 4-0. Now, on the plus side, silentfan is out so that leaves me some space on the ignore list....
Best thing about Memphis's Success is that they end up going against the Spurs in the first round. AND GETTING SMACKED. Versus we at 7 will probably end up against the Timberwolves who we've beaten 2-1 this year and they've never gotten past the first round. The difference is also that we play a style that thrives in the Playoffs when the game slows, less turnovers, less running more controlled play and defense. Versus Memphis plays a dallas type offense that will never let them get past the second round. We're building towards playoff noise, not just a bunch of regular season wins by having 20 guys run and run all day, and then get smoked in the Playoffs.
i dont dislike the memphis grizzlies. but im rooting for them to lose now just because of memphisX being a little too smug for a team that has had its first ever success.
I agree with your assessment about Griz. When they rely on Posey to make clutch shots, we all know how far they can go in the playoff. Paul Gasol is going to get smacked by Duncan company in the first round. I hate that cry baby.
Rox are a playoff team this year. Worst case scenario I think the Rockets lose in the first round 4-2. Upside potential I think we could concievably make the Western Conference Finals.
