come on rox DO have a tough way to go, but Yao is getting MUCH better than he was, just look his stats in las 20 games. Im looking forward on this team. The key to win games is: SF dish the balls and hit shots. Yao has to be agressive (he´s been doing it), and Cat score his 15 points. If a team contest every shot, and play unselfish basketball they win. Steve has to show some leadership and lead this team on this road games. Yao will do his part for sure, but will SF? that´s what the rox depends on

I am worried about making the playoffs but I think they will get in there considering the other teams in contention. Hey there is still a lot of games left and the rockets have suprised me with some of their wins this season. (2-1 vrs a good Minnesota team this year)
MemphisX, if you won't bet on the playoffs, how about on something you might have a little more confidence in? I will bet you that the Grizzlies will NEVER be a Top 3 seeded West team in the next 20 years, and the Rockets will. Will you still be around then? Or will you be too embarrassed after the 1st round sweep the Grizzlies are victimized by this year to show up again? Otherwise, what are you willing to wager? The Grizzlies are as good as they will ever get this year or next. They'll at best be like Portland was back when they peaked in the Conference Finals against LA. I believe last night's victory over the Timberwolves (one of the league's super elite teams) proves that the Rockets WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. We will go up 3-1 on the Lakers. It'll be nice to face "The Fantastic Four" at full strength.
Rox will make the playoffs. Reasons are: Yao's dramatically higher level of play. Better personnel than at the mid point of season, Mark Jackson minus Moochie Norris = Positive Clarence Weatherspoon = Positive Jim Jackson knocking down more shots than at beginning of season. Mo Taylor, 6th man nominee Proven ability to beat playoff bound teams like Lakers and T-Wolves. That said, for Rockets to go deeper into the playoffs than the 1st round, Rox must shoot better and cut down turnovers. Steve has to get it and come out of this slump. You know what guys, I realize we need to cut MemphisX some slack. Yeah he is a pain in the rear, but he's never had a successful team. So obviously he's going to fall over himself with excitement and try to talk trash because of Memphis one good season. Besides, if the Rockets are going to be in a "close race" then I guess Memphis is since one game separates the Rockets and Grizzlies. I guess MemphisX didn't factor that in when he ran over to the message board in excitement and tried to jump on the Rockets fans when we were down.
start seasoning your crow silentfan and Memphis X, its gonna taste good this year. your utah team has to go something like 17-4 to make the playoffs. we are moving forward and we will beat Memphis the next two games we play them. we will have an identical record and Memphis will get the sixth seed by virtue of their division record, we will play the t-wolves and add to their first round futility woes.
