Why do people on this board ignore the obvious? Grizzlies play like an elite team, or should I say they are actually an elite team.
Top 10 Teams Since February Name W L PCT --------------------------- Grizzlies 14 3 0.83 Pacers 11 3 0.79 Spurs 11 3 0.79 Kings 13 4 0.76 Nets 13 4 0.76 Lakers 13 5 0.72 Mavericks 10 5 0.67 Timberwolves 11 6 0.65 Rockets 10 6 0.63 Cavaliers 9 7 0.56 ---------------------------- Top 10 Teams Since January Name W L PCT ---------------------------- Pacers 23 6 0.79 Grizzlies 24 7 0.78 Kings 25 8 0.76 Timberwolves 24 9 0.73 Nets 21 10 0.68 Mavericks 21 11 0.66 Pistons 22 12 0.65 Spurs 20 11 0.65 Rockets 19 12 0.61 Lakers 20 14 0.59 ----------------------------

nocore, come back to me after you compare our recent schedule with that of the Grizzlies. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure we've played a substantial amount more Western powers than they have in the last 5 or 6 weeks or so.
Golden State W 106-101 @ Washington W 103-101 @ Minnesota W 99-98 @ Denver L 86-83 29-22 L.A. Clippers W 110-102 Dallas W 109-92 Phoenix W 97-92 @ Chicago W 105-98 33-22 Denver W 109-106 Golden State L 99-92 Milwaukee L 106-104 New Orleans W 97-92 @ San Antonio W 81-80 @ Portland W 97-88 @ L.A. Clippers W 98-92 @ Golden State W 95-85 * 4 wins vs EC * Duncan was injured in the SA win. * 1 p win @ MIN - Kandi was out / Spre 2-8 / MIN bench 18 total pts. * DEN has stunk since FEB > 5-10 over their last 15. * DAL win is the only win of note. If you're looking for a yardstick for the Grizz, try this Tues @ San Antonio.
Well, 24-7, the Grizzlies have the BEST record (tied w. Indiana) since Jan. That's a long stretch of games. We have to admit they are playing much better than the Rockets. As of which team played more Western powers, just look at the record:
TEAMS ATL CEN MID PAC EAST WEST Memphis 9-3 6-5 10-7 14-9 15-8 24-16 Houston 11-3 10-3 6-11 9-9 21-6 15-20

Well, with MemphisX continually spouting off, the Grizzlies are officially my most hated team this season...
Houston's Lost games: * Seattle - Yao's girl friend had a cold. * Lakers - Stevie lost his cat. * @San Antonio - Tim Duncan was healthy * San Antonio - Manu Ginobili was too healthy.
It's been a long time since I rooted for them to lose every game. So far, I'm pretty damn disappointed.
Isn't it funny how teams just happen to roll over when the Grizz come knocking. Don't even mention that Grizz just finished a 4-0 WC road trip with two starters on the IR. Grizzlies own the Toyota Center!
I haven't posted or read the boards in awhile, but this thread is great. I think we're being a little harsh on MemphisX he's just defending his team. We should feel sorry for him, Posey is one of their go to guys.
Even you have to realize that the only impressive victory on that trip was the win in SA, and even that was by a mere point with Duncan out. I only say it's impressive because the Spurs had an 11 pt 4th quarter lead, and because somehow they've still been managing to take it to their opponents lately other than that loss. But the question from my last post in this thread stands: Why are you here? Isn't there some Grizzlies board you can go to? Oh wait... that team has a complete history of playing like ass doesn't it? I guess there probably aren't enough fans for a discussion board... well maybe the bandwagon fans will come soon with this all impressive 6th spot they're put together.
Where is silentfan now? As long as Yao continues his great play, the next few games should be a breeze.
i don't hate the grizz. in fact, they look solid to me- hubie has them playing hard and they've earned everything they've gotten this year. but i wonder why MemphisX is spending so much time on a rockets fan site. is there a lack of intelligent dialogue on the grizz site?
Memphis is set to play SA in the 1st round.. good luck with that! haha.. I see rockets escaping the 1st round, but I dont see Memphis even getting a single win!
