    why is it WAYYY tougher, Portland is legit 3rd best team in the West, I wouldn't want to play them more than OKC

    We especially should not be looking past this particular 8th seed. Granted, we've won about 20 more games than them, but the 3rd seed could have been the 8th seed if they lost a few more games, and Minny could have been the 3rd seed if they had won a few more.

    The divide in wins is pretty big, but it's not some David v Goliath matchup. So it's baffling why people are calling for a sweep.

    Yup, any match up in the second round aint easy. This is good for us considering okc and jazz will definitely be a slug fest.

    They are declining, that's why. Legit 3rd best team? Good one. They have Lillard & McCollum. That's all. We can match them easily with Harden & CP3. TWolves would've snatched them in 6 games for sure...

    Minny has had the EASIEST schedule post all star. even without butler they should have posted more wins but they didnt. They deserved that 8th spot.

    This entire first round will be one of the most competitive first rounds in a long time. For the first time in years, golden state doesn't have a straightaway of odds to make it to the finals in the west.

    Declining is a bit strong. They slumped after a lengthy winning streak. Lots of teams do that. Couple that with Lillard's ankle sprain, and they lost a few games. But they still had some quality wins down the stretch including one at OKC and last night over Utah to clinch the 3rd seed.

    If Portland beats the Pelicans as I believe they will, they're gonna give the Warriors a fight in the 2nd round.

    He may not be 100% when he comes back. Last time he got this injury he wasn't the same until the next season

    you are seriously underrating them. They just smashed the Jazz last night in a important game for Jazz. and Utah has been one of the top teams since all-star break. They have pretty much beaten every top team in the west except for us, didn't they sweep OKC this season. The games we played against them were really close as well.

    Minny does not match up at all against us due to style, the games we played weren't close. They don't defend the 3 for some reason and KAT just gets abused on defense.

    Even if that was the case, literally winning one more game, while everyone else currently above them lost one more game, could have result in them having HCA in the first round.

    I'm not saying Minny should have been higher. But the fact that there isn't much separation between seeds 3-8, means we shouldn't be surprised if Minny is competitive in the first round, against us.

    anyone who watched the end of the 4th Q against DEN last night saw KAT and wiggins freeze up like deer caught in the headlights. rockets are going to shred these kids
