I do like our bracket. Timberwolves is a very young team but obviously tired. Thats our biggest advantage. Okc and jazz is a very interesting match-up. I expect it to be a very physical series. Im glad warriors ends up in the more experienced bracket. Spurs maybe missing kawhi but they are still a very tough match-up.

Wolves have a dangerous team. I would say they are similar to thunder but less of a threat but the talent level is there despite how low they are

Minnesota is a way easier matchup considering theyre half dead.

San Antonio kind of sucks but they have a chance to extend series because it's still really hard to win @SBC center.

Basically (see game 5 last year) the combination of a live crowd, Pop working the refs, a slowdown ugly style, and general rep means they're probably going to get most of the borderline calls in a close game down the stretch.

Want to win? Capela on Towns .. Ariza On Wiggins .. Tucker On Butler .. ALL GAME. Do that and it's a sweep. Get lost switching and the Wolves will make this close.

Gotta be posted as Eastern times. NBA.com has the times more 'centralesque'. Still would have preferred a Saturday prime time game so I could TURN UP!

Twolves play 0 defense.. We will have open 3's all night... if we make them, we will win by blowouts.. They are not a good 3 point shooting team,.
I think we should win atleast by 5 games

People are overreacting way too much. The T'Wolves are a very favorable first round matchup. Would I have preferred the Nuggets or Pelicans? Sure. But Denver mathematically could not get the 8th seed, so that was a nonstarter. And New Orleans was a long shot given they were favored to beat the Spurs at home(and did). It could've been far worse. Imagine if Denver had edged out Minnesota. Then we would've been stuck with San Antonio in Round 1. Instead we got an opponent who we should handle easily.

The second round will be tough, no doubt. OKC would be a handful, although we have far better depth than them, especially if Luc can return for at least part of that series. The Jazz won't be much easier, although they are offensively challenged.

But I don't think it's so bad to avoid the Blazers in our bracket. They are an explosive team that ran off 13 straight before the Rockets ended that streak. They've beaten the Warriors twice this season. And they actually play respectable defense unlike in years past. That would not be an easy matchup for Golden State in Round 2.

I really dont see anything special with OKC.. I think they will get beat by the Jazz regardless..
We have a favorable matchup in the Wolves they play 0 defense.. We will be jacking 3's like crazy.

I also picked Utah to win that series. I say Jazz in 6. We'll beat either Utah or OKC, but I do think the Thunder are potentially more dangerous in that they have 2 legit superstars and a fading star who can give us trouble. Utah has a budding star in Mitchell, but he's a rookie. And Gobert is an outstanding defensive player, but he's not gonna beat you offensively and the Rockets are so good at scoring on the perimeter that it lessens Gobert's impact on the game(there's a reason we swept them 4-0 with minimal difficulty).

My coworker is from Minnesota, lives in Denver, talking to him right now through Skype, he doesn't have much faith in his team against the Rockets.
Me, I'm of the "Rockets better take care of business" attitude; don't look past an eighth seed.

That’s not how it works. Early series end = more time to rest.

This should be a sweep, 5 games max. Take care of business.

Rockets scored 130 points per 100 possessions (mostly due to PnR). Wolves will have to correct that issue to even
start talking about having a chance. KAT/Gibson we’re part of that problem.

Sucks that the number 1 seed is buried in the late night times. Either disrespectful or they know it will be a bloodbath.
Not sure how to look at it.
