Color me unhappy with the outcome. In terms of how the teams measure up at the end of the season, weighing in roster talent, expected performance, and momentum, if you had to do a power ranking of the west playoff teams I would seed them like:

    1. HOU
    2. GSW
    3. UTA
    4. OKC
    5. POR
    6. MIN
    7. NOH
    8. SAS

I feel like the Warriors absolutely lucked on out a trash bracket. Their only potential hiccup is if Portland beats New Orleans so fast that it's 100% rested in time to give the Warriors a good fight in round 2. Likewise, as Rockets fans we have to hope that Utah and OKC bludgeon each other to death, and maybe injure a few of their players in the process, because neither of those teams is going to lose to us without getting a few cheap shots in below our ribs. They're going to try to tenderize us before the WCF.

Just a reminder that we have home court advantage throughout the entire playoffs.

Timber wolves have been locked out of the playoffs for the longest time(15 years). Since then theyve had really no good team, execpt maybe that 13-14 season with kevin love 40-42, if they just had 1 or 2 more players on that team they could of made the playoffs, but they have been shut out of the playoffs since Kevin Garnett. 03-04. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Minnesota_Timberwolves_seasons

Wolves never could put anyone good around Kevin Love, and decided to rebuild, now they are in the playoffs. Traded love to clevland for the #1 pick Andrew Wiggins!.

I'm just hoping we don't get the late game slots for these games.

Absolutely no excuse to lose this series, giving up more than a game would be an upset.

The wolves simply don't defend well enough or shoot enough 3s to roll with us.

Playoff seeding outcome could not have been worse for the Rockets and better for the Warriors. So much for being the 1 seed. Only chance Rockets have of avoiding GSW is if SAS jumps out on them in the 1st round but I give that a 10% chance at best. Rockets are absolutely screwed going into the 2nd round.
