    I was thinking almost the exact same thing, seeding is almost irrelevent. Maybe if they get the #1 seed they can get an easier schedule facing the warriors then maybe the jazz but facing any of the other teams is gonna be tough any way you slice it.

    I just hope they keep winning and getting better and show that they can beat the good teams to advance in the playoffs because its obvious they're gonna be there.

    the best matchup i think is if we got the Hornets because I believe we can get it done in 5 games. But this year we have RA and he is very smart and i believe he can get us past the 1st round against any team.

    man reading the old responses to this thread was hilarious. granted, no one could have seen this coming but the scary thing is its actually a possibility now... peleincubus has a gift (perhaps blind faith but its working)!

    Indeed, funny stuff... but then, hindsight is 20-20...

    Man I would just die if we got no.1 seed in the west... not that it guarantees us a place past the first round, tho :)

    Agreed. With the strength of the WC, it hardly seems to matter if we get homecourt advantage. If the playoffs started tomorrow, we'd play the Mavs. While I'd love a re-match, I'm not sure how I feel about our chances.

    If we can't advance to the second round yet again... I don't know, that's really all I want, anything extra is bonus.

    Every matchup is going to be ridiculously tough. The only thing we should worry about is ensuring home court advantage for as many rounds as possible.
