Why would he get fired? Before the season, he has managed the team to exceed expectations almost every season and has maneuvered his way into getting two stars. All he has to do it hire a good coach. A good coach can make mediocre talent a good team and make good talent a great team. Yall calm down
This whole entire season, the Rockets have been 'alright'. After last season, most were hoping for more than just 'alright'. The entire organization has let us down.
FWIW, McHale surprisingly gave Parsons a ton of burn when he was a rookie. If Dekker can immediately contribute, we could get PT
It's funny how everyone who gave Morey GM of the year props in the offseason after trading for Lawson and bringing everyone back (except for Pablo and Josh Smith, who we got back on a minimum contract anyway) now says he should be fired. Literally the only player in our WCF rotation not here is Pablo. We gave this team a shot to repeat last year's success. It didn't work, so time to retool. That's just how it is. We're not bogged down in bad contracts. We have max cap space, a first round pick (possibly two if we miss the playoffs). Anyone complaining about Les being cheap, when we have one of the highest payrolls in the league, must miss the Dawson days. Back then we handed out big contracts to mediocre players like candy, sometimes based on preseason games.
