the key with kmart is you release the trigger on his shot before it ever gets near his head. He shoots from the hip, you have to look at the motion from his hip like the way a normal shot looks leaving a players hand in front of their head. You can go to live practice and it will tell you if your releasing too early or late. Now the problem is, once you get used to shooting with kmart, you start missing with everyone else because his shot is so unconventional.
I've played with the Rockets. The team is good. Just play off of Yao like the Rockets do (did) in real-life. Once Yao starts to get rolling and draws the doubles... Martin, Brooks, and Battier are decent enough shooters to hit those wide threes. Never try to post with Scola, defenders in 2K do not go for his fakes.
I have had success playing with the Rockets. Brooks midrange game is sick. But when does 2k update the rosters, I haven't seen t-will on the active roster yet (I looked last night). Is there anyway to adjust your online rosters, like you could two years ago? On a side note....2k servers SUCK ....so i haven't played as much as I would like too
I haven't even played with the Rockets online yet and I bought the game the day it was released. I'm still stuck in My Player mode - it's seriously the most addicting sports game feature ever conceived. Something about being my team's go to star(got drafted by Memphis - yuck!), getting shoe contracts, etc is very satisfying for me.
I don't think the online mode for this game exists. The My Player mode reminds me of playing Pokemon for some reason. K-Mart is a beast in this game. I can't score with Scola as much as I would like.
I only play ranked games, so Houston is not a good choice as you get eaten by skilled players with slashing guards and good big men. Props to my man I Tsquare I for representin Houston online on 431-18 (rank 94 on xbox 360), he a beast with our guards.
**** 2k11. On my player my guy averages 38,5,7 and I didn't even get to play in the rookie/soph game. Also my coach has been fired at least 15 times and we have played only about 55 games
Yea that's why i stopped playing that mode, way too easy and dumb bugs. Been playing only ranked games for years now.
I destroy with Houston online. Kevin Martin and AB are so easy to score with. Most players on the team can hit 3's in the game too which is great. I have no idea what you are talking about dude.

It's easy to score on there but playing on HOF for my player it's hard to win. I play with the Nets and we are alike 16-42 smh
kmart = best player in the game... i think he is overrated in 2k.. i cant miss with him and i constantly beat the lakers, mavs, heat, spurs
I don't have any trouble with it. Martin usually gets about 27 for me, his shot is hard to get used to though, it doesn't really even look like his shot. Live 10 did better on martins shot!
I have the most problems with Budinger. Can anyone give me any insight on how to shoot with him? I am great with everyone else, but Budinger provides NOTHING for me, except for his athleticism.
Use some practice mode. He has a pretty nice release in that game and if you can use to it, he'll be productive
You guys must be using the real KMart .. his shot is off right now he needs to learn his own shot release
