Yea I went to options and turned it on somewhere while not in a game online. I saved the settings and its always on for me when I play online or in season mode offline now.
Steve Novak is amazing is this game...he is shooting at least over 50% from three. If he is open, his jump shot goes in without a doubt.
i only use rockets online kmart is my top scorer and i lose 1 out of 20 games plus he can make free throws with his eyes closed. My starting lineup is : I have a tight rotation lowry kmart battier scola hill lee bud hayes miller sometimes i dont even use hayes unless i need defense or foul trouble, and lee is a good backup pg til brooks is back. if you practice with kmart you will perfect his shot, he makes 9 out of 10 if open and put bud a pf and pick and pop post up scola or iso with kmart
Remember how amazing they were in like NBA 2k8??? Yao Ming and McGrady. Yao makes like every shot inside and even mid range shooting, and McGrady you could just drive in and dunk it half the time.
Kevin Martin is amazing in the game.. quick shot release Terrance Williams hits some impossible shots (and 3's) his release is also quick Brooks midrange J to 3pt is almost automatic. Kyle Lowry plays like Lowry
no they dont, you just suck at this game. you gotta release the ball with martin at the right time when open, and he never misses.
I probably score anywhere from 40-70 with Martin. His shot is just really quick. Just try to perfect his free throw shot, then you'll perfect his actual shot.
Brooks, Martin, and Twill on the fastbreak is straight unfair lol. The speed they have is almost glitchy. If Yao was still in the rotation the team would be the best on the game.
ps3 txplaya33 Get at me if u dare. But the rockets arent that good but if your skills are tight on the game then you should be fine.
And this is what happens. I've only played three online games so far on PS3 (3-0), and two of those times, people messaged me with "gg, kevin martin". LOL, Kevin Martin is so forgotten in the NBA.
I can average 40-50 ppg with him online if I wanted too lol. He's that good on the game; might be the 3rd best SG on 2k11. It's just that I like using other players as well. Actually we are TOO deep to be honest. I hardly ever use most of our players. Since online games are on 5min qtrs, and our starters have good stamina, I can basically use them the whole game with TOs. Brooks/Lee Martin Twill Battier or Jeffries Jeffries/Miller/Hill That lineup looks stupid but I'm telling you, it's the best all around lineup for the Rockets on 2k11 right now. You don't even need the backups. If Yao wasn't injured then replace Battier with Jeffries and it's a wrap.
TWill is not on the online version on PS3 for some reason. Any way I can add him in there? Currently, I use this Brooks/Lee Martin/Bud Battier/Lee or Bud Scola Miller/Hill Scola is money if you drive in with Brooks and pass it back out to him once the defense collapses on Brooks. It's the dagger at the end of games.
I know. I haven't been on in a while but Twill should be back on the next update which should be rolling around soon. If he isn't then I'll make sure he gets in on the next one. And Yeah Scola is money when you kick it out to him but he isn't good on defense. He's good on the game but against skilled players he'll get burned. I use to aways start him for his mid-range shots alone but I can hit some of the same shots with Battier and plus the deep ball. For sim leagues or sim games, Scola is the man. But in the game, height and mobility is extremely important. And since he is 6'9 and not very athletic, his post shots are easier to affect by taller longer players. You have to try out Jeffries though. You can run the same cuts to the rim with him as you do with Hill since he moves like a SF. Just don't go crazy with and try to hit sky hooks with Jeffries cause you will surely miss. But it's on the other end where he shines. If you are getting killing by points in the paint he will surely help. I don't ever have a problem scoring with Brooks, Kmart, or Twill so defense on the front court is a priority. And with the speed in the backcourt with Twill I don't have too much problems keeping a guy in front of me as well.
When I first started playing the game it was hard but once you start getting used to Kevin Martin's quick release and learn post moves then you will be just fine. You have to run plays and actually use all the features and you can win pretty easily. Use practice mode and keep taking shots until you get the release right. You have to really memorize all of the players release point if you expect to get good at the game.
