Simmons would zap our flexibility for 2 years, but if we got Scoot or Wemby in the draft, I’d consider it. Something like this KPJ, KJM, Tate 2025 net swap 2026 net 1st 2027 net first 2023 clips pick for Bridges and Simmons.

    Scoot, Conley or Caruso, Simmons
    Green, bridges, JC
    Bridges, Tari, Simmons
    Jabari, Tari, Simmons
    Sengun, Jabari, Garuba

If Wemby we would need to keep KPJ:

    KPJ, Conley or Caruso, Simmons
    Green, Bridges, KPJ
    Bridges, Wemby, Tari
    Wemby, Jabari, Tari
    Jabari, Sengun, Wemby

The thing is, the same reasons advanced stats are a bit lower on Brown are the same reasons I don't think he's as valuable as some of y'all think he is. His stats would look great if you dropped him into 1990 or 2000 or 2010, but in 2023 when there's so much more scoring and you've got so many guys averaging 30+ points and regularly threatening triple-doubles, a guy who's dropping 27, 6, and 3 on very good but not elite efficiency, that's just not on the same level of offense as some of these other players. He's a fantastic defender though, which is what the advanced stats aren't picking up on as well, and is why I have him in the #20-30 range among all players.

For me, he's the ideal #2 scoring option on a contending team. You don't build around a guy like that, you add him alongside your main star.

Jaylen Brown has very good advanced stats?!

I mean, his PER is almost as good as Alpi's. That means he must be very good.

his stats look great right now so not sure why you’re talking about dropping him in 1990 or 2010

Jaylen Brown brings more to the table than just his offense which all these crappy advanced stats can’t measure

nobody here has said to build around Jaylen Brown or that he’s some top 10 player
