Impossible. Get it through your head: both sides want nothing to do with each other. If you want an aging playmaker to bring off the bench in an x-factor type of role then you need to concentrate your efforts on signing Manu. Of course, your resources to do so are undoubtedly limited. This would require some severely good luck and/or Morey jedi mind tricks on our part.

Budinger is not that great. He is a good shooter off the bench and he can take it in. He would be the Rockets upgraded Luther Head. Martin (and Chase) would score for the Rockets when the starters are resting. That's something they've always had a problem with when healthy.

Who treated him like ****? The Rockets paid him almost $100 million. He does not hate us especially after we almost voted him into the ASG when he was injured two years in a row. The fact is he wants to win and he has always been open about his lack of a quality supporting cast.

T-mac back to the Rockets is as likely as JVG returning as head coach.

the problem isn't so much tracy coming back.. it's that you're wasting whatver you'd be paying him. I cant believe you want to put martin on the bench first of all. A 10 million dollar back up!?!? Just great. If he wants to come back for a small amount and take whatver role he gets, cool, but i doubt he'd got for that. Anythign more than that would be wasting money in one way or another. We should instead use that money to clean up the frontcourt and get some legit bigs, not have it cluttered with guys who can't even get consistent playing time.

T-Mac doesn't like the coaching staff and they don't like him.

Oh WOW the all-star game. He could of played in it during the past few years but declined.

Just give it up this makes absolutey no sense.

The Rockets management did everything they could to make Tracy happy.
    1) They signed every player he wanted.
    2) They agreed to take whatever precautions necessary in order for him to get healthy.
    3) They traded him to the team he wanted.

Tracy will never forget any of this. If he has several MLE offers, be sure he will pick the Rockets. He knows he can win here. Before, the Rockets were unable to win ANY games without him. They would go 0-6, 0-4, and 0-2 repeatedly. This season the Rockets have won almost 40 games without him AND Yao. This off season, Morey will pay McGrady his market value because he is the most talented available player.

    This is true.

This starting line up would be much better:

    Yao
    Scola
    McGrady
    Martin
    Brooks

The big 5 if you ask me. All 5 players are quality starters and great NBA players.
