An other pg can make our players run without the damn ball? ? Bull ****.


We can be good if we have a better ball movement and Rafer is good at it.

Battier is the heart of the team.

 

There are four players that are untouchable:
Tmac
Yao
Artest
Battier

Barring a trade for Dwight Howard I see no reason to trade any of those four. Any thread that suggests a trade of those four will now atomically get 1 star.

 

If to solve the PG crisis need to trade Battier,that is too bad,we cant live without Shane,several games we all realised what Battier mean to us

Certainly not last year and you'd have a horribly tough argument trying to say the season before that. Must've been that Keith Bogans reinforced 05-06 team. How could Rafer have done that?

Seriously...if the worst issue we have is an above average POINT GUARD (who happens to be a low percentage, yet capable shooter)...I think we're going to be alright. The lack of a backup big man is going to cost us many more games than running Rafer out there for 30 minutes a night.

 

I am talking about this season, and if you think Rafer Alston is average than there is no point in discussing anything, because he flat out sucks.

kirk is hardly an upgrade especially with his salary.

 

Why do people care about salary?

I mean does it come out of your pocket?

Who CARES if Les has to pay some Luxury tax?

All I care about is that they get the best team on the floor with the best chance to win, and Hinrich dances all over Rafer's game.....tap dances on his tombstone.

Can you please explain to me why Hinrich is worlds better than Rafer? Most of Rafer's hate comes from not being able to hit the open three that teams give to him. Trust me it frustrates the hell out of me too. BUT Rafer is a career 35.6% 3pt shooter. Hinrich is at 37.7%. Is the 2.1% causing the love fest? If you go into the other stats you will also find a very slim difference. Hinrich is a better pg, but it's not as much as your making it seem.

i tried doing the trade:

head + hayes for rodriguez + frye. it works. i would like this trade for houston but i doubt portland would agree. i would give add a future pick and some cash if needed to convince them.

 

why do people care? Because with the money tied up on a couple of players, the team will not have the flexibility to get players when the options come. Teams who are over the cap like Celtics, Lakers etc will not be adding any players, nor trading for any players unless its a star for a star trade, i.e. AI for Billups.

Considering that kirk's contract runs another 3-4 years, its a big deal to consider his contract.

 

Did you honestly just try to make a point about not going over the Lux tax by including the 2 teams that just played for the championship?

And are favored to do so again?
