    T_Man,

In this year's ATT 3pt contest, what percentage Peja shot? 70%? Would Bargaric - this backup center of Chicago Bulls miss 3 out of his 10 dunk attemps? Think about it before you act like you are the only smart man in the world.

The issue is that WE KNEW our 1 on 1 defense on Shaq was gonna be terrible! It was no mystery that Yao nor Cato can not guard Shaq one on one. And I am confident to say that NO ONE in the league can guard Shaq one on one for an extended period of time. With that said, it is up to the coach to make adjustments. Unfortunately for us, none were made.

With all due respect to Larry Smith, the Lakers have a lot of deadly three point shooters. Whether you like them or not, but Robert Horry, Rick Fox, and Kobe Bryant are solid jump-shooters. Fisher is great and he killed us last year for 21 points when we doubled on Shaq, but it seems that Fisher's shot has been off.

The problem is really the way Yao played on the offensive end. We all know Shaq will run over whoever guards him, get his points, unless he is in foul trouble. Shaq always plays timid when he is in foul trouble, heck most players do. But Yao didn't attack Shaq at all, Cato has no offense, so Shaq had only ONE freaking foul until the end of 4th quarter. You won't beat the Lakers that way.
