greated? nba jam also had the beastie boys, some of the mascots, warren moon, al gore of course that one little kid that was probably a programmers son.
I really liked Tecmo NBA Basketball for Super Nintendo. It had all the great players like Bird, Magic, Jordan, (H)akeem in it. I loved it. Especially that 3pt hook shot from the corner was lovely
Still the best basketball game back in the day was NBA Jam. I used to pump quarters hand over fist into it at Celebration Station on 59 near Chimney Rock back in the day. BEST MEMORY EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER: I was playing 2 on 2 with a friend & we *ALWAYS* played the Rockets. Since I was better at the long range shots, I was almost always Kenny. In a VERY close game, it came down to us down by 2 with 3 seconds left (I swear I'm not making this up). We pass around & with me as Kenny taking a last second 3 pointer. "IT'S UP! . . . . IT'S GOOOOOOOD!" People were watching & jumping up & down. High fives everywhere. And I swear on my life & all that is holy, Kenny Smith walks in 10 minutes later. And I told him the story.
there will always be tinman haters, like when tupac was on top, the haters were jealous. apparently if you hate on this thread, then u hate on the old school games, the nba jam, the nba live, the tecmo basketball. but they don't know. they don't know about the old school!
Isnt Kenny Smith and Vernon Maxwell's pics switched in the photo? If not, that answers the question to this thread!
Your my boy Blue. By the way, Aaron Brooks is on the back of the new NCAA basketball game for 360. Of course its him in his Oregon uni. I think its the one with Morrison on the cover opposed to the one with Redick. Can someone pull this?
2k7 ratings are WHACK. sprewell, kerry kittles????? they give no love to any of the rockets, i end up editing almost all the players
I loved Tecmo Basketball for SNES. But, I was never the Rockets....probably because they're ratings sucked. I was the Pacers. the only play I ever ran was the one where Chuck Person or Reggie Miller went to the top corner for the hook-three or regular three. They always ended up with 40-60 points a piece. Who remembers about the Tom Chambers 3-pointer double pump dunk from the corner on Lakers vs Celtics?
