I made the new Rockets (basically adding Steve and some of the other guys...Mike James, etc.) in NBA Live, and the Rockets are like 96 in there. I bet Daryl Morey just plays Live and tries to make the Rockets 99, then goes out and makes the trades...
NBA 2K7 - Best basketball game ever and it's only going to get better. Since the dreamcast days I've been addicted to 2K.
Well, I just went 77-5 in the regular season with a much improved Yao and Francis added to the roster....not too bad, broke the 96 bulls record by 5 games. I haven't simed the playoffs yet, but I will. I've got Aaron brooks starting as point guard and Chuckie sharing minutes with Scola.
2k7 - has luther head which is an 82 rating in 3s. Battier a 85 rating in 3s. These 2 guys can hit from anywhere, anytime almost. Notice Sprewell is a FA with a 82 rating.
Guys, for NBA live 07, if you put Francis, James, Wells, Butler on the team and trade off Sura, Howard (basically anyone that probably won't be on the roster this year or wasn't on it last year)...we have the top rated team in the league...that's without creating Scola which I predict will get similar to Howards rating of 72 (not bad). I believe Yao's rating will go up to the 90's and Tracy's will stay around 94... Simulating this team with a starting lineup of Francis Tmac Wells Battier and Yao beats any other team. If things stay the same with guys like Head (unfairly rated in the low 60's) improving...we will be crazy in the game. -V

My question is why are you playing and talking about a video game from well over 15 years ago? My next thread will be "Do you think the Rockets should give up Thorpe for Drexler"! First, who cares about how the Rockets are rated on video games and second why are you using old video games to make an argument they are not?
The games may be old, but I grew up with NBA live '95, '96 on the SNES and they were greated. Tecmo was good too. Now though, 2K7 is clearly the best. Someone posted about making CAPs. Any for Scola and Butler (Ps2)? Thanks in advance.
