The Rockets have lost 4 of their last 6 games. What gives?

the results are clear: rockets suck! /disgruntled rockets fan or laker fan who hates dwight

 

Since Dwight's come back the Rox have not been that good. I think its more than a coincidence.

 

Dwight Howard not giving a f about winning, McHale inserting Smith into the starting line-up way too early, going from 10-20 minutes for Papa to zero, D-Mo back to the bench, not playing defense anymore, chemistry, no accountability, Beverley forgetting how to play basketball etc...

 

I think we aren't very good. Our shooting numbers are awful and we have no one on the team we can trust to dribble a basketball besides Harden.

Howard looks lost on offense most of the time, Motiejunas doesn't get the basketball, Josh Smith has been abysmal, and Ariza's low IQ on the offensive end paired with his shooting percentage is dragging this offense down to the depths of the NBA rankings.

With the competition out West, I would think that we are almost assuredly a first round out team again this year if we don't fix our broken offense. PLAY CANAAN!

 

We gave up over 100 points in every game too except one and they scored 99

dmo needs more looks

papa needs minutes

dorsey needs less minutes

howard needs to stop thinking he is hakeem and set some ****ing screens

brewer needs to take more of ariza's minutes

caanaan needs to take more of beverely minutes

 

My very amateur analysis...

We like to shoot lots of 3s and free throws. We aren't very good at shooting 3s or free throws.

 

Well you can start with the fact that the defense has gotten significantly worse. Back to gambling too much, not getting back in transition, and now with the guys in the mix, there is alot of mix ups in their rotations. Going to need to recommit themselves to getting back to the way they played a couple weeks ago on that end.

The Rockets turn the ball over at moronic rates at times and the defensive effort from the beginning of the season is not there anymore. It doesn't help that the Rockets hoist 3's like no other without any real above average 3 point shooters.

They'll figure it out, but the defense needs to get back where it was.

 

Agree mostly , Doresy did what he wad supposed to do and had a decent job so far

 

We miss Chandler, Jeremy and Omer.

And Tarik Black.

 

Well for start you could say Bevs and Arizas and terry shooting has dipped off and so has their production

Dwight looks a step slow on offense and defense

Defense is allowing way too many 3's

 

Need more D-Mo and Dwight coming back is throwing everyone off.

 

Everyone was so focused on shoring up the defense we have sacrificed the offense in the process.

 

My answer: Rockets and their fans think the Rockets are (one of) the best already, so they don't have to try hard to win.

As I've said before, the Rockets have won some games because they defended. If they get themselves loose on that end, the poor ~20th offense rating won't win them many games.

Sorry I'm furious now. Just can't understand why backups are better than starters.

2. Free throw shooting sucks.
3. Too many dumb turnovers.
4. Stupid rotations.
5. Dwight looks lazy and unmotivated out there - what gives?
6. Still need another playmaker.
7. Chemistry issues

Still too early to panic though.
